Hey there, it’s Jeremy from Ochsner Insurance, checking in with our one-take journal. Can you believe it’s already Friday? Time flies, even when you’re feeling a bit under the weather. But hey, no excuses, right?
Let’s dive into the highlights of the week ending 2/9/2024. It’s been a decent week overall. We’ve been proactive, making 16 phone calls to new prospects and setting up three appointments along the way. Building those connections is essential to our growth.
We’ve also had some fruitful meetings with our referral partners and clients, which led to our bringing in around $10,000 worth of premium for the week. It’s always exciting to see our efforts pay off and contribute to the success of our business. Thank you for those who trusted us to insure them! We don’t take that lightly.
One key takeaway from this week is the importance of prioritizing tasks. Managing emails can be a challenge. Despite our best intentions to check emails only three times a day, it’s easier said than done. But we’re committed to sticking to our schedule – 8 am, noon, and 5 pm – to ensure we focus on what truly matters.
Good inputs = Good Output
Among the books on my reading list are “Modern Prophets,” “Pure Desire,” and “John Maxwell’s Sixteen Laws of Communication.” Additionally, I’ve been diving into some content on leadership and personal development, including Craig Groeschel’s Leadership Podcast and various Book summaries on the Headway app.
One podcast episode that left a profound impact on me was from Exploring the Marketplace, hosted by Shawn Bolz and Bob Haason. The story shared about overcoming adversity, faith, and innovation in AI and AR was truly inspiring. I highly recommend giving it a listen.
At Ochsner Insurance, we’re not just building a business; we’re building a legacy. Our mission is to provide outstanding service to our clients while supporting our families and the families of our team members. It’s a journey filled with challenges and triumphs, but we’re grateful to have you along for the ride.
As we wrap up another week, I want to extend my gratitude to each one of you for your support and encouragement. Here’s to an amazing week ahead, filled with growth, learning, and success. Thanks for being part of our journey.
Until next time,
Jeremy Ochsner
