March Madness and Reflections
First off, let’s talk March Madness. While our beloved Nevada Wolfpack didn’t quite make it past the first round, we’re still proud of the effort they put in this season. To the seniors who gave it their all, thank you for the memories and best of luck in your future endeavors.
Weekly Activities
Now, onto the nitty-gritty of our week ending March 22nd. We’ve been honing in on our 4-5 window strategy for managing emails, and I’m thrilled to report that we knocked out 10 tasks in that window last week—a significant improvement. Our cold marketing drops saw two successful campaigns, while we ramped up prospecting phone calls and produced four valuable pieces of content.
Biggest Challenge of the Week
The biggest challenge of the week: data integrity! 4-5 hours of research on prospecting lists on Monday, and 2 successful marketing drops, Tuesday! Problem, when I opened the list Wednesday to map out my drops, all the research was gone! You see for .CSV files there can only be one tab. I had 5 tabs segmented by cities. When I saved and closed the file, only the most recent tab saved and all the other data was lost!
Challenges in Personal Lines Insurance
But let’s address the elephant in the room and all over social media—personal lines insurance. It’s been a rough ride lately, with carriers tightening their belts and setting stringent criteria for new policies. Loss ratios are soaring, and rate increases are a constant battle. While it’s frustrating, we’re still committed to serving our clients and finding solutions, even if it means jumping through hoops.
Expanding our Reach
On a brighter note, we’ve expanded our reach by obtaining licenses in Ohio, Tennessee, Mississippi, and Massachusetts. These new licenses open doors for us to serve even more clients and deepen our relationships with referral partners who continue to send business our way. Thank you for the referrals in Home Health Care, Digital Marketing, Cosmetics and Med Spas, Service Contractors, General Contractors, and Personal Lines!
